※ When living abroad: Notarized translation is essential
- Important documents such as academic certificates, certificates, and career certificates must be translated into Korean or English and notarized overseas.
- After notarization, the overseas consulate must go through a certification process to verify the authenticity of the document.
※ Other documents related to the establishment of public or private institutions, copies of employment contracts, identity guarantees, and documents proving qualifications of invited companies shall be submitted upon registration as foreigners after entering Korea.
※ When applying for an agent: Additional submission of a power of attorney, a certificate of employment as an agent, and an identification card as an agent.
※ The head of the office may add or subtract some of the attached documents, if necessary to examine the purpose of entry, the authenticity of the invitation, the confirmation of the qualifications of the invitee and the invited person, etc.

- Application for approval of visa issuance (Form 21)
- A copy of a passport/photo for a passport
- Foreign employment recommendation/reason for employment (employment utilization plan)
- A copy of the business registration certificate, a copy of the corporate register (at the time of a corporation)
- Proof of payment details for last year/year, certificate of VAT payment details
- National tax payment certificate, local tax payment certificate
- Employment insurance eligibility history statement (document that can check the average monthly remuneration for all employees)
- List of the four major insurance subscribers (document to check whether employees are enrolled in the four major insurance policies)
- Original or copy of employment contract
- Documents proving the relevant foreign qualification requirements (degree certificate, career certificate, resume, certificate, etc.)
[Application process]
1. Fill out the application form (No. 21) for certification of visa issuance for invitees (company) and prepare required documents
2. Application for an E-7 visa to the Immigration Office Visa Division under the jurisdiction near the company's address (examination period is about 3-4 weeks)
3. (When permission is granted) Certification number for issuing a visa
4. Delivery of the issuance permit number to foreigners residing abroad
5. Application for visa issuance confirmation (17-b) and required documents after visiting the overseas mission (Korean Consulate) of the host country (foreigner) prepare and submit (1~2 weeks, up to 3 weeks)
