How to report the change of address in Korea

All foreign residents of Korea must report their change of address to the immigration department within 14 days of their move. 


If the change is NOT reported, 100,000 KRW (or more) will be fined.




How to change your address:

To report your new address in Korea, you can go to your local district office and get it done quickly without an appointment. 


You can also go to the Korean Immigration office (appointment is required) or change your address online on HiKorea.kr.


Documents needed:


- Residence card (previously known as ARC)


- Passport


- The new house contract with your name on it


- Basic visa application form
