1. Effort on employing local people
Workplace that trying to employ foreign worker have to get ready employing local people. In order to do this, workplace normally use the site ‘Worknet’(www.work.go.kr), which operated by Ministry of Employment and Labor(MOEL), for putting effort to make the way of employing workers for 14 days.
2. Issuing of employment warrant and special case of employment confirmation
When failing to employ with the effort of employing local worker, workplace can employ foreign workers with issuing employment warrant or special case of employment confirmation at the employment center.
3. Employing foreign-worker
After entering a country, foreign workers with non-professional employment visa(E9) would get employment education. After finishing it, they can work directly in corresponding types of business field. Non-professional employment visa(E9) has a principle that workers have to serve in designated fields, including manufacture, construction, agriculture and fishery when they enter the country.
4. Length of workers visit
Length of non-professional employment visa(E9 visas) or visiting-employee visa(H2 visas) is 3 years for once. But, workers can lengthen it by workplace’s request. Therefore, workers can work in local country in maximum of 4 years and 10 months. Foreign workers who working in domestic manufacturing business with certain condition, can continually work with changing visas to E7 visas(specific-working visas). Plus, in domestic manufacturing business can employ skilled foreign workers continuously.
