Happy New Year everyone!

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2021 is the year of the White Ox.

Traditionally, the Ox is the symbol of fortune, power, and justice, while a white ox is especially symbolic of good events and peace.

Let’s hope for many good events to happen in 2021 .

Have you heard the story of the Chinese Zodiac animals?

Once upon a time, the Jade Emperor (one of the most important gods of traditional Chinese religion) organized a race between the animals of the world but only 12 showed up. He promised to name a year of the zodiac to each one, with the race determining the order they will be named.

One of the animals, the faithful ox, woke up early in the morning and started ahead of everyone else. However, just as it was about cross the finish line, the cunning mouse, who had been hitching a ride on the ox’s back, leaped off and finished first with the ox coming in second place. Accordingly, the Jade Emperor named the first year of the Zodiac after the rat, and the second after the Ox. The next animals come in the order of tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and a pig.

We hope you all stay healthy and happy in 2021.
