Before having a Part-Time Job, my friends, make sure that you have already gotten the permission from the immigration!
There is a friend who did not know about the permission and his employer was not aware of it either. He worked as a delivery agency. While he was enjoying the work, he was cause for working without Permission.
So, before we as foreign students do part-time jobs, let's make sure that we are permitted.
Check blow:
Penalty for working without prior permission
>In the event of being caught working in the construction industry, even for the first offence, the offender will be ordered to leave the country within 30 days with no exception (reentry will also be suspended). !!!!!
>In the event that an individual violates the rules for permission for part-time work and receives a fine or noticed disposition, limitations will be placed on their ability to switch to a job seeker (D-10) visa.
Wow!
Here are lists of things that we need to get the permission to do part-time jobs:
- Passport, foreigner registration card, application form
- Recommendation letter for part-time employment, transcript or record of attendance (may be substituted with FIMS verification), document proving Korean language ability
Prepare all the above documents and visit your designated immigration center.
If they permit you to do part time job, Voilà!!! They will put a sticker on your passport saying "You are permitted!!!"
And one time more!
If you want to work longer, you need to have good Korean skill!
Check the table below:
Oh! So let's study Korean hard!!!
Usually D-2 visa is for the foreign students who come to Korea for their education, so if their academic performances are poor, they might not allow to work...
>>>Grade Score : Average grade of C(2.0) or above, of just the previous semester.
How kind you are~! Studying and working at the same time is tough. Right? Your hard work will be payed off surely!!!
Cheer up!!! 아자 아자 화이팅!!!
